Apple Music coming to Tesla is great but…
While a new Tesla software update is coming to your vehicle over the air this week including, among other goodies, Apple Music, we are still missing full iPhone integration.
Don’t get me wrong, I cheer every software update with new features as most Tesla users do, but I think there is still a gap to be filled up.
Apple Music
While being able to log into your Apple Music account from your car screen is great, still there are things that are managed a lot more personally from your phone.
We have to take into account that our smartphones are the center of our digital life, and although cars will also be a big part of this in the near future, our phone is so personal that it will be difficult to be replaced even with the gorgeous screen and awesome sound of your Tesla.
Apple Music coming to our cars is another step but still, it is a stand—alone software that won’t be able to continue playing where we left it or be able to take advantage of the new “Sing” function available with iOS 16.2.
Integration with your Apple ID is fine and easy as you get a code on the Tesla screen that you can read with your phone camera and proceed on…
