Most people interested in changing their ICE car to a new EV, sooner or later come up with the same questions: how many miles will I be able to drive between charges and how long am I going to be waiting for my car to recharge and continue my trip. These questions don’t arise that much among actual owners of EVs and it is because “range anxiety” is just for newcomers.

The answer is not straightforward because we use our cars in many different ways and charging schemes vary depending on each one’s use.

There is a significant part of the population that is making 95% of their total mileage for commuting. This means an everyday trip from home to work and back.
